Pakistani police detain 23 suspects in mosque bombing

Pakistani police have detained 23 people in connection with an explosion at a mosque inside police headquarters that killed 101, a senior official who wished to remain anonymous said Wednesday.

Authorities are also investigating whether people on the premises may have helped coordinate the attack, a senior state police official told AFP on condition of anonymity.
