Palestinian house, roof fired while Israeli troops are training – Middle East Monitor

Israeli troops reportedly conducted live ammunition military exercises among Palestinian homes in the village of Karat al-Daba in Masafah Yatta today. Wafa News agency.

According to local activist Fouad Al-Imour, the exercises took place in Palestinian-inhabited areas, where at least four homes were attacked and damaged.

“The roof of the house was destroyed and the villagers, mainly women and children, were frightened and panicked,” he told Wafa.

It was a move aimed at getting the Palestinians living there to leave the area after another exercise was done in the area last week.

Israeli occupying forces are trying to expel Palestinians from at least 12 Masafa Yatta communities, claiming that their homes were built near military training zones.

According to the United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA), about 1,200 people, including 580 children, are currently on the verge of deportation and deportation.
