Police officers and citizens charged with possession of guns
Citizens accused of police police and illegal possession of firearms have been charged.
Prosecutors claim that RapidResponse Units PC3988 Derron Lewis and Pedro Morley were found on April 30 at a local nightspot in a black Glock Austrian pistol with eight 9mm ammunition.
When they appeared yesterday before Justice of the Peace, Joyan Ferguson Pratt, they denied allegations of possession of unlicensed firearms and ammunition.
They have been detained overnight and will appear at a bail hearing today.
