Prime Minister Stre: Remember Gorbachev as a brave leader

Mikhail Gorbachev will be remembered as a courageous leader, Prime Minister Jonas Gal Store (AP) said Wednesday.

“In connection with the passing of Mikhail Gorbachev, we will remember him as a brave leader who left his mark on history by choosing reform over repression and making a significant contribution to the peaceful end of the Cold War.” Chancellor Store wrote. on Twitter.

The last Soviet leader, Mikhail Gorbachev, died Tuesday night in a Moscow hospital after a long illness.

He lived to be 91 years old.

Reactions to his death have come from all over the world, and Gorbachev has been hailed as a pioneering politician.
