Saturday, April 30th with Albert II Princess Charlene Attend Monaco E-Pri With their children, hereditary Prince Jack and Princess Gabriella.

Prince HSH and Prince Jack presented the trophy to the winner, Stoffel Vandoorne (Mercedes-EQ Formula). Princess Charlene and Princess Gabriella were awarded the trophy by Louis Ducruet to second-place winner Mitch Evans (Jaquar TSC Racing) and third-placed Jean-Eric Vergne (DS-Techeetah).




Prince Albert II drives Monaco on a Volvo electric truck

Albert II Pedestrians were amazed throughout the Principality when they grabbed the handle of Volvo’s electric truck on Wednesday and drove from Piazza Palais to Salon Evermarquee in Fontvieille. This was a unique and memorable way for Sovereign to demonstrate its commitment to green transportation. In the passenger seat was Roger Alm, the president of Volvo Trucks.

Under Salon Ever Marquee, 40 start-up villages showcased the richness of local innovation. Exhibited at the event was Sunbeam Alpine’s “First Hybrid Remodeling of a Vintage Car” in 1954, which was made famous by Princess Grace for Hitchcock’s “To Catch a Thief”.

Artist Bernard Vegina presents painted Porsche to Albert II

Artist Bernard Vegina used Porsche as his canvas and presented the work of art to the sovereign. Var’s artist’s unique and 100% electric car was unveiled at Palais Square to please tourists. The Taycan model acted as a safety car at the 5th E-Prix on Saturday. The artistic car will eventually be taken to either the Porsche Museum in Stuttgart or the museum in the Sovereign car collection.

Albert II visits Genoa’s Euroflora exhibition

On Saturday, April 23, Albert II attended the opening of the 12th Euroflora Exhibition in Genoa. Welcomed by the mayor Marco Bucci, the director of Euroflora, Salvatore Srache and other local civil servants, Sovereign instructed him to visit a special stand set up by the exotic gardens of Monaco.



Prince Albert II also praised the “Princess Monaco” roses dedicated to Princess Grace and raised in the Garden Roses of Monaco. In 1966, Prince Rainier III and his wife, Princess Grace, praised the first edition of the exhibition for their presence. Euroflora attracts hundreds of exhibitors from around the world every five years. Princess Grace returned to the exhibition in 1971. At the end of her visit, the municipality presented Prince Sovereign with a picture of Genoa’s roses and his parents.

After the Euroflora exhibition, the prince personally visited Villa del Principe. Sovereign attended the roundtable and presented a study in collaboration with the entity of Genoa as part of the ongoing restoration of frescoes in the Principality of Monaco. At the end of the visit, after a presentation by an art historian of the centuries-old connection between Genoa and Monaco, Prince HSH received citizenship to the municipality of Genoa. The city of Genoa recently joined the Italian association Siti storici Grimaldidi Monaco.

Albert II visits Matera and Alberobello

On Friday, April 22, Albert II continued his visit to the Puglia region. In the morning, Sovereign visited Matera, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Considered the third oldest city in the world, Matera is famous for its cave dwellings, “Matera’s Cave Dwellings”. The Italian city was the European Capital of Culture in 2019.



The prince was then welcomed by the municipality to Palazzo del Gaverno before moving to the Contra da Pietrapenta, about 12 km from Matera, where one of the most important examples of medieval painting in the Mediterranean was the original sin. At the Teatro La Fenice in Venice, Pierre Casiraghi When Beatrice Borromeo I participated in the Dior Grand Gala on the first day of the Venice Art Biennale. The gala was attended by more than 400 guests.

Charity Gala is a collaboration between Dior and a non-profit Venetian heritage organization that helped raise funds for the restoration of the Italian Cadoro Museum and Ukrainian refugees.
