His Highness Prime Minister Sheikh Ahmad Nawaf Al Ahmad Al Sabah.

• Born in Kuwait in 1956, he is the son of His Highness Amir Sheikh Nawaf Al Ahmad Al Jaber Al Sabah.
• He graduated from Kuwait University with a bachelor’s degree in commerce and joined the army, rising to the rank of general.
• Previously served as Assistant Secretary for Nationality and Passport Affairs and Assistant Secretary for Education and Training Affairs at the Home Office.
• After retiring from the Ministry of Interior, His Highness Sheikh Ahmad was appointed Governor of Hawali. In November 2020, the Amiri Decree appointed him Vice President of the National Guard with the rank of minister.
