Prometheus brings Iraklis closer to demotion

After losing to Patra’s Prometheus on Saturday, Iraklis is heading from the basketball league to the A2 division, except for the big turmoil, winning the champion Panati Naikos.

One round before the end of the regular season, Iraklis had a 78-69 reversal at Prometheus and had only mathematical hope. These survived the defeat of Apollo Patras and Ionikos, but the Thessaloniki team must see Panathinaikos defeated in the final round of the game and either Apollo or Ionikos lose.

Apollo fell 78-68 in Panathinaikos on Saturday, while Ionikos lost to leader Olympiacos at home with a score of 86-78 on Sunday.

Colossos took third place in the regular season with a 69-60 home victory over PAOK at Rhodes. AEK is about to take fourth place after defeating Peristeri 78-72.

Alice confirmed her improvement by beating Larisa 82-70 at home this season and finishing sixth in the playoffs.

Meanwhile, Karditsa won the title in A2 and will play on the top flight for the first time in history next season. Prometheus brings Iraklis closer to demotion
