The Qatar Volleyball Association (QVA) has announced a national women’s team preparing to participate in the international competition in 2021/2022.
According to QVA, these players will be at the core of the first Qatar women’s volleyball team to compete in the 2030 Asian Games in Doha.
The technical staff of the QVA national team oversees the training of 60 female athletes and trains at the QVA Hall three times a week for two hours.
The technical staff of the national team is working to establish a women’s team to keep pace with the progress and global status of Qatar’s beach volleyball and indoor volleyball and to encourage girls to play volleyball.
Sarah Khaled al Misnad, a board member of QVA, is the chairman of the Women’s Committee of the Qatar Volleyball Association.
