Qatar’s Al Duhail club sign ‘Algerian rocket’ Gediura for new season – Doha News

Algeria’s Adren Gediura has announced his move Al Duhail SC Until the end of the 2022/2023 season.

The veteran central midfielder, known as the ‘Algerian Rocket’, is looking to lift Al Duhail after the side lost 4-2 to Al Wakrah in the first week of the Qatar Stars League.

The 35-year-old will replace the injured Ferjani Sassi in the match against Al Wakrah.

Gediura has played in four countries and made over 200 appearances in the English league.

Gediura will not only bring years of experience on the field, but the ‘Algerian Rocket’ is expected to showcase his famously brilliant goals in Qatar.

On many fronts, Gediura has scored the ‘Goal of the Season’ and cemented his place with powerful strikes.

In the 2011/12 season he won ‘Goal of the Season’ for both Wanderers Football Club and Nottingham Forest Football Club.

In the 2016 FA Cup quarter-finals, Gediura led Watford 2–1 to beat Arsenal.

According to unconfirmed report, the ball was shot at a record speed of 139 kilometers per hour. If this is true, it would put him sixth on the list of fastest shots ever recorded.

Gediura’s illustrious career is not over yet. He is looking to continue showing his talent on the Qatar pitch.
