QC is working with Thai runner Qatar for a charitable sports initiative

Qatar runner Mubarak Abdulaziz al-Khulaifi, along with Thai runner Purnsak Thongchi, has conducted a charity sports initiative to support humanitarian projects carried out by Qatar Charity (QC) around the world.
Al-Khulaifi, along with his Thai colleagues, sought to harness the proceeds of humanitarian activities by traveling 180 km in 48 hours 55 minutes on Thailand’s largest island, Phuket.
This initiative focused on funding a project to develop 500 square meters of farmland in Palestine so that poor families can earn a continuous income to meet their daily needs.
The target amount was collected via social media before runner Al Cryfi and his Thai colleague reached the finish line.
Al-Khulaifi expressed satisfaction with the success of the initiative and thanked QC for providing the project, receiving donations and overseeing its implementation. He thanked all the supporters who contributed to the success of this challenge and showed his previous cooperation with QC during Ramadan on the “Gifts of Orphans” project. He was also looking forward to implementing other initiatives that would contribute to supporting Qatar Charity programs and projects.
Abdulaziz Jassim Hajji, Director of Marketing, Digital Growth and Customer Service at QC, praised the initiative linking sports and philanthropy and emphasized the active and effective role of Katari’s youth in society.
He said QC encourages adolescents to make voluntary efforts to support philanthropy and humanitarian activities. Officials pointed out that QC has previously organized and sponsored many initiatives, challenges and travels for young Qatar athletes, innovative and creative people, and volunteers who contribute to humanitarian activities.
