Queen marks Platinum Jubilee with the message “Queen Camilla”

Queen Elizabeth II yesterday announced her “honest wish” that Camilla, the wife of Prince Charles, should eventually be known as the Queen, becoming the first British monarch to rule for 70 years.
Britain’s longest-serving monarch took the throne at the age of 25 on February 6, 1952, after the death of his father, George VI.
She quietly dated her historic date in Sandringham, her mansion in eastern England, where her father died. However, in a major statement about the future of the royal family, a 95-year-old woman issued a message to the country. She said, “When that time comes, I sincerely hope that Camilla will be known as the Queen.”
This means that Camilla, now 74 years old, is crowned alongside Charles, now 73 years old, and is commonly known as Queen Camilla, royal experts said.
Charles said the couple were “deeply aware of the honor expressed by my mother’s wishes.” It will give Camilla the full title of the monarch’s wife. He praised Camilla and said, “My beloved wife has always been my own solid support.”
The successor to the throne also pays homage to the Queen’s “dedication to the welfare of all” and “evokes even greater admiration year after year.”
The Queen said that when Charles became king, the British people wanted him and Camilla to be given “the same support you gave me.”
Camilla has long been accused of her role in the collapse of the marriage between Charles and Princess Diana.
Recognizing the sensitivities, when the couple got married in 2005, the royal family announced that after Charles became king, she would be known as the queen. However, she gradually won praise as the loyal wife of the future king. Londoners disagreed over the announcement. “I’m happy. I think it’s time,” said Angela Roberts, an 80-year-old retiree.
“It was before my time, but many who grew up with Diana becoming the next queen feel like she was being mistreated by a royal agency,” said a 24-year-old software engineer. Tobias Fox said.
“I don’t think many are happy with Camilla’s role in this role.”
“I think she’ll work, but I think there’s always a shadow of the past that overturns her reign,” said 25-year-old marketing worker Alice Tomlinson.
Buckingham Palace has released a photo taken in Sandringham this week, emphasizing that the Queen is still active.
