Regional Sports Hub Qatar-Doha News to host the Turkish Super Cup next year

Doha has become a regional hub for major sporting events with the opening of six advanced stadiums ahead of the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022.

The Turkish Football Federation has confirmed that the Turksel Super Cup will soon be held at Ahmad Bin Ali Stadium in Doha.

World Cup Stadium hosts the long-awaited match against Turkey League and Cup Champion Besiktas and Cup runner-up Antalyaspor will be held on January 5th next year.

This is not the first time a stadium has been selected to host a club final.

The venue of Ahmad Bin Ali will also host the CAF Super Cup Match Between Winner of the African Champions League title Egyptian Al Ahli and Federation Cup champion Raja Casablanca.

The two African giants will meet in Doha on December 22, just weeks before the Turkish tournament.

This will be yet another test to determine the preparation for Qatar to host the 2022 FIFA World Cup, which is scheduled to kick off within a year.

The Ahmed Bin Ali Stadium officially opened in Alleyaan last year, making it the fourth stadium ready to host the 2022 FIFA World Cup match, accommodating approximately 40,000 spectators.

The venue was one of the six hosting the FIFA Arab Cup match earlier this month.

The match was held at six World Cup stadiums nationwide, including Albaite, Altumama, Education City Stadium, 974 and Aljanouve.

FIFA has hosted the first ever Arab Cup tournament under its jurisdiction. Qatar.. The Arab Cup Tournament was designed to test Qatar’s ability to host upcoming global events.
