The suspicious discovery of what appears to be a dead person turned out to be a doll. “Good news,” says Trondelag police.

Police closed the area and conducted a preliminary investigation Monday afternoon after witnesses reported the deaths in the E6 parking lot south of Ursburg, Reneb.

“It turned out that it wasn’t a dead person. It was a wrapped, lively doll,” said Bente Bøklepp, a prosecutor at the Trøndelag police station.

She explained that the circumstances surrounding the discovery caused a suspicious suspicion of death.

“good news”

“The good news is that it turned out not to be dead,” said Prosecutor Vente Bokrep.

It is still unknown how the doll reached the edge of the E6 forest.

Bøklepp told the newspaper Adresseavisen that the doll was wrapped in several layers of plastic.
