Rimac Nevera becomes the first car to cross the Perjeshak Bridge on the first day

The Perieshak Bridge, which connects the southernmost tip of Croatia with the mainland, will open at a formal ceremony on July 26th.

The 2.4 km long bridge and 20 km access road will be open to the public on 26 July, with an official ceremony attended by the President and Prime Minister of Croatia.

According to every day UtalnilistThe first car to cross the bridge is the all-electric, 1914hp, 258mph hypercar Rimac Nevera manufactured by Rimac Automobili.

The Nevers will start on one side of the bridge, and three-time European racing champion Dubrovnik’s Nico Prich will start on the other side of the bridge by car. Both cars pass through the fireworks.

After that, members of the 1st and 4th brigades (40 of whom are motorcycles) cross the bridge.

Cultural and artistic programs are also held daily at the rest area on the Pelješac side of the bridge.

The opening ceremony of the Pelješac Bridge in Croatian, called Pelješki, begins at 8:15 pm and will be broadcast live on the HRT.

The € 550 million bridge was connected three months earlier than planned, three years after workers at China Road and Bridge Corporation began work.
