Rome-Naples high-speed rail will be reopened-English

(ANSA)-Rome, June 7-Rome-The Naples high-speed rail is scheduled to resume this afternoon after an accident in a tunnel in Rome on Friday.

The track was cut off Friday afternoon when the rear engine of the high-speed train hit the entrance wall of the tunnel.

The passenger was not injured in the accident.

Rail network company RFI said the resumption of high-speed services will also help restore normal commuting services by local trains on the line.

“Tomorrow morning, we will be able to resume the normal schedule of trains between Rome and Naples, and both in the hubs of the two cities,” he said. (ANSA).
