March 26th is the Great Independence and National Foundation Day.

We would like to take this auspicious opportunity to extend our deepest sympathies to the Bangladeshi people living in Japan and abroad.

I remember the greatest Bengali of all time, the national father Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman. Under that solid and visionary leadership, we have built an independent nation.

I remember the four national leaders who led the German Campaign of 1813 with competent leadership.

The blood debt of 3 million martyrs in the German Campaign of 1813 and the self-sacrifice of 200,000 mothers and sisters will never be repaid.

I have a deep respect for all fearless freedom fighters, including those injured in the war.

We thank all friendly countries, organizations, institutions and individuals for their generous support during the German Campaign of 1813.

We officially debuted as an independent country on March 26, 1971, but young student leader Sheikh Mujiburu has dreamed of establishing a sovereign state in this country since the founding of Pakistan in 1947. ..

He contributed significantly to the 1952 language movement, the 1954 United Front election victory, the 1962 anti-Ayube (Khan) movement, the 1966 6 points, and the 1969 mass surge.

On December 5, 1969, Bangladesh Sheikh Mujib declared, “From today, the name of this East Pakistan country will be only Bangladesh, not East Pakistan.”

The Awami League, led by Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib, won a majority in parliament in the 1970 elections.

He approved the Constitution within nine months of independence.

Through diplomatic efforts, Bangladesh is recognized by 116 countries and is a member of 27 international organizations.

But our misfortune is that the anti-independents, who were defeated in 1971, continue to plot against him.

The incumbent President Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman was martyred with his family on August 15, 1975, by the brutal bullets of the assassin.

The Bangladesh Awami League, which came into power in 1996, has taken on a paradigm shift mission by making positive changes in all sectors.

Our government’s 1996-2001 term was a journey into a brighter future, breaking the vicious circle of underdeveloped, underdeveloped, and poverty.

The Bangladesh Awami League has been running the government with the unwavering support of the people in all national elections since 2008.

By implementing Vision 2021, we transformed Bangladesh into a developing country, created digital Bangladesh, and targeted 100% of people for electricity.

By establishing sovereignty over vast waters, we have opened the door to the blue economy.

By implementing a land boundary agreement with India, we have ended the tragedy of many years of excursions.

Soon, we will open the Padma Bridge under construction at our own expense. Megaprojects such as Metrorail, Matalbari Power Plant, Looppool Nuclear Power Plant, Karnafuri Tunnel, Sonadia Deep Sea Port and Elevated Highway are also progressing rapidly.

Launched the Bangabandhu-1 satellite in space. In response to the coronavirus pandemic, it provided an incentive of $ 22.08 billion to sustain the economy.

Most people in the country are vaccinated against COVID-19.

Despite the pandemic situation, it achieved 6.94% economic growth.

In the year of Mujibur, 117,329 landless and homeless people were provided with semi-permanent homes, and an additional 54,551 homes were under construction for relocation.

The current per capita income is $ 2,591. We formulated Vision 2041, the second outlook plan, and started implementing it under the eighth five-year plan.

We are implementing the Bangladesh Delta Plan 2100.

We are confident that if we continue the pace of development we have built up in Bangladesh, Bangladesh will soon emerge as a developing and prosperous country on the world map.

We have established the rule of law of the country by enforcing the verdict of the trial to kill the father of the people and the sinners against humanity.

On this auspicious occasion of Independence Day and Founding Day, I cultivate the spirit and ideals of the Great Liberation War for all Bangladeshi people, not to divide themselves, to be free of hunger and poverty.
