Saudi Arabia records 227 new COVID-19 cases, 3 deaths

Riyadh — Saudi Arabia recorded 227 COVID-19 cases on Tuesday, bringing the total number of confirmed cases to 810,187.

The number of COVID-19 cases in the Kingdom has fluctuated between 100 and 1000 in the past few weeks.

Three people have died from complications from the virus in the past 24 hours, the health ministry said in a statement.

This brings the total number of virus-related deaths to 9,255.

A total of 346 people have recovered in the past 24 hours, bringing the total number of people free of the deadly virus to 796,099, according to the ministry.

Of the active patients, 127 were in critical condition.
