Saudi delegation announces new guidelines for visitors to Hong Kong and Macau

HONG KONG — The Saudi consulates in Hong Kong and Macau have revealed a number of amendments to regulations that visitors must comply with when entering the territory.

The consulate said the amendments were made by the local governments of Hong Kong and Macau provinces.

Under the proposed amendments, all Saudi citizens wishing to visit the two regions will be obliged to follow the following five guidelines: Visitors must quarantine for only three days, followed by four days of self-monitoring.

Visitors are required to take a daily PCR test for Covid-19 as part of a 4-day self-examination.

According to the amendments, visitors during the self-monitoring period are allowed to enter and exit stores and conduct some activities, but are prohibited from visiting public places such as restaurants where people gather. .
