Seven arrests for mafia infiltration in two Sicilian towns-English

(ANSA)-Rome, May 18-Wednesday, Italian police arrested seven people in two towns near Messina, Sicily, investigating alleged mafia invasion by authorities.

Among those arrested were the mayor and deputy mayor of Moio Alcantara and a former public works councilor of Malvagna.

Police said the Mafia had invaded the administration of two Sicilian coastal towns.

Police said the Cosa Nostra boss had ordered officials from prison. (ANSA).
