Sightings of a Georgian UFO Westminster found in the Journal of the Royal Society, 1746

This is definitely the case with Master Mulder and Mistress Scully.

Doctor Cromwell Mortimer reports seeing a UFO in central Londoncredit:

Physician Cromwell Mortimer reported seeing a UFO in central London and even drew a diagram of a mysterious spacecraft.

Mortimer, secretary of the Royal Society, saw it over St James’ Park on his way back to Westminster at 8:40 pm on 16th December.

he wrote: As it climbed to a height of about 20 degrees, it moved almost parallel to the horizon and passed over houses. ”

He believed he passed through Bloomsbury before “losing him at the Haymarket”.

He added: I had enough time to fully contemplate its appearance.
His drawing showed a flame head “trapped in an open case” with an “iron strip.” It had a long tail of light that faded into darkness.

Mortimer published a report in 1746 in the journal Philosophical Transactions vol XLIII, which has recently come to light.

British UFO expert Steve Mera Said: “It’s the first of its kind.”

He continued: They did well and encouraged proper research on it. ”
