Simone Biles and Jordan Childs kicked off their 30-stop US tour in California, showing off their aviator-inspired leotards.
Simone Biles and her fellow Olympians have officially kicked off their tour across the United States.
The 41-time world championship and Olympic medalist gathered in Oceanside with fellow Team USA athletes Jade Carey, Jordan Chiles and Hesley Rivera to kick off the sprint tour Monday night.
Biles and other gymnastics stars will perform at the Frontwave Arena before heading to 30 cities across the US for the Gold Over America (GOAT) arena tour.
U.S. Olympic team bronze medalists Paul Judah, Brodie Malone and Frederick Richard will also be in action along with the gold medal-winning women's team athletes.
Biles wowed fans early in the morning by showing off her “OOTD” (Outfit Of The Day).
Simone Biles and her fellow Olympic stars have officially launched their national tour.
She shared a photo of a hooded sweatshirt with “GOAT” written in large letters on the front, with a gold medal hanging between the letter “O.”
Before taking the stage — or, rather, the mat — Biles posted another photo of herself, Chiles, Melanie de Jesus dos Santos, and Jocelyn Roberson dressed in aviator-themed leotards.
Biles has been enjoying her preparations for the tour since becoming the most decorated American gymnast in Paris, posting a video on Sept. 12 in which she showed off a new “trick” she learned from Skye Blakely.
“From the world stage to the GOAT stage, this incredible journey continues and I can't wait for my fans to see what this year has in store,” Biles said in a press release for the event. “I love creating unforgettable memories for audiences every night on the tour.”
The tour kicks off at Oceanside's Frontwave Arena and ends Nov. 3 at Detroit's Little Caesars Arena.
The Olympic legend shared a photo of a hooded sweatshirt with “GOAT” written on the front.
The 30-location tour comes after the gymnastics legend's recent success at the Paris Olympics.
But the gymnast will also be able to catch some NFL games during her break.
Preparing for the tour forced her to miss the first two games of the season while her husband, Jonathan Owens, plays for the Chicago Bears.
But Owens, who married the Olympic legend last year, revealed that Biles could appear on Solider Field as early as this month.
“She's coming here on the 29th,” the safety told the Chicago Bears YouTube channel, “and she's stopping here on tour that night at 7 p.m., so it's just perfect. So she's at the game at 12 o'clock, and I get to go watch her game at 7 o'clock. It's a pretty amazing turnaround.”
