Singapore NODX up 7% YoY in July

SINGAPORE, Aug. 17 (Xinhua) — Singapore’s non-oil domestic exports (NODX) rose 7% year-on-year in July, following a revised 8.5% growth in June, the agency said. Enterprise Singapore reported on Wednesday.

It was the 20th consecutive month that Singapore’s NODX increased year-on-year.

In breakdown, electronic NODX rose 10.3% year-on-year in July following a 4.1% rise in June. Non-electronic NODX increased he 6.1% year-on-year in July, compared to a 10% rise the previous month.

On a seasonally adjusted basis for the previous month, Singapore’s NODX increased 1.4% in July to SGD17.8 billion (USD12.9 billion), up 3.2% in the previous month.

Singapore’s non-oil re-exports (NORX) grew 25.2% y/y in July, following a 31.4% rise in the previous month. Both electronic and non-electronic NORX increased.
