Skatepark opens in Cambre Forest for 2 consecutive years

Urban sports enthusiasts will be able to enjoy a thrilling ride at BXL S’Ket Park in Bois de la Cambre for the second year in a row, Bruzz reports.

The 500m² park on Avenue de la Sapinière is a facility for skateboarders, BMX riders and roller skates. Open until September 25th.

For the new season, the skatepark has been expanded and refurbished, including a redesign of recycled lamps.

“This skatepark could be built because most of the Cambre forest was reserved for pedestrians, cyclists and runners. It freed up space in this busy green area,” said city councilman Benoit Herring. Su (Ecolo) said. Increasing interest in urban sports.
