Stanford professor reported lacking in Washington park

(KRON) — A search is underway for a Stanford professor who went lacking in Washington’s Olympic Nationwide Park, the Nationwide Park Service mentioned Friday. Hunter Fraser has not been heard from since Tuesday and was reported lacking on Wednesday.

The NPS mentioned Schafer left his car on the Deer Ridge Trailhead on Monday. He meant to hike 40 miles and spend two nights within the park.

Fraser’s household has not heard from him since Tuesday morning after they obtained a textual content. He was imagined to be in Seattle by Wednesday, per NPS.

Fraser is 44 years outdated and stands 6-foot-3. He has a tall, trim construct; quick, darkish brown hair; scruffy facial hair and small scars on his head and chin. He was utilizing a turquoise tent.

Fraser is a biology professor at Stanford College. He was arrested in July 2022 and arraigned on a misdemeanor cost of home violence.

The Stanford Each day reported that courtroom paperwork state Fraser threw his girlfriend on the bottom and slammed a door into her whereas he was taking part in a sport with the sufferer and his daughter. He was imagined to have a courtroom date on Friday.
