Survey: Hungarians see energy sanctions as dangerous for Europe
In mid-September, the Nezpon Institute conducted a survey of 1,000 Hungarians asking about European sanctions policy.
Hungarians see energy sanctions as a threat to Europe, according to the latest Nezpon Institute study released Wednesday. A two-thirds majority (66%) believe sanctions hurt Europe more than Russia, according to a telephone survey of 1,000 people conducted in mid-September, with sanctions on energy markets. Only 22% disagreed with the statement that sanctions would hurt Europe more than Russia. Nezőpont said he disagreed and only 27% supported it. Only 12-15% said they had no opinion on the issue of sanctions.
