Survey: More than 80% of second-graders in Czech primary school experience bullying

More than 80% of Czech 2nd graders experience verbal bullying, suggests a survey conducted by Scio, a leading Czech educational consultancy.

About 40% of children say that verbal bullying is very common. Physical abuse was experienced frequently or daily by her 13% of children.

The survey was conducted last year with about 13,000 children in 110 primary schools in the Czech Republic. More than half of respondents said their school did not have an adult they could trust to solve problems or ask for advice.
