A teacher at Thelma Gibson Primary School has denied assaulting the principal’s daughter last month.
Lake Isha Gray-Davies, 43, of Churchill Drive was accused of slapping Timisha Duxon at school on Oct. 7.
The incident allegedly occurred during a meeting with parents, teachers, and administrators to discuss an ongoing dispute between Olivia Daxon, who was the school’s principal at the time, and some faculty members. I’m here.
Gray-Davies pleaded not guilty to the assault charges at an arraignment held before Assistant Magistrate Subsora Swain on Friday, November 18.
She received $2,000 bail and a trial is scheduled for February 2023.
Meanwhile, Daxon will face assault charges next month following an altercation between her and teacher Shenique Sweeting on September 12th.
Due to this incident, the teacher quit his job and demanded Daxon’s dismissal.
