Telangana BJP refers to attacks on timid MP acts

Hyderabad: Bandi Sanjay Kumar, chief of Telangana BJP on Friday, accused the ruling TRS of attacking party MP D. Arvind and called it a timid act.

BJP leaders said Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) leaders are resorting to physical attacks to question the government’s anti-people policy and Prime Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao’s “dictatorship.”

Arvind’s convoy was attacked on Friday when he visited a flood-affected village in the Jagtial district.

When Lok Sabha members of Niza Mabad arrived in the village of Elladandi in Mandal, Ibrahin Patnam, his convoy was stopped by a group of protesters who also threw stones.

The MP, whose car was damaged by the attack, blamed the TRS for the attack. He claimed that KCR’s daughter Kavisa, who was defeated in the 2019 elections, instructed party members to attack him wherever she went. He also said police were being used by the ruling party to book false cases against him.

Mr Irvind said he was visiting a village in his constituency to interact with villagers facing the flood problems of the Godavari River flood.

A TRS man said he was afraid that his visit could expose them as the local TRS MLA Vidyasagar Rao had been blocking the allocation of residential land to villagers for several years. He said he had attacked him with an instance of MLA.

Irvind faced similar protests during his past visits, and he accused the ruling party of creating hurdles on his visit.

Sanjay Kumar argued that TRS leaders and their followers were attacking BJP leaders due to growing opposition from the people.

He called on all democracies to condemn TRS’s wrongdoing.

He argued that people strongly opposed the rules of KCR and the actions of TRS leaders. There is no doubt that the BJP has succumbed to such attacks and threats, Sanjay said, and that the TRS government’s countdown has already begun.

BJP leaders said their party would continue to fight the TRS government’s anti-people policy.

Sanjay said it was time for people to rebel against the KCR government. He warned that the BJP would respond appropriately if such incidents were repeated.

BJPMLA and former Minister Eatala Rajender have also accused the attack on parliamentarians.

He argued that the ruling party was resorting to physical attacks, unable to confront the BJP in a democratic way. He said people were witnessing this attitude of TRS leaders and the ruling party would undoubtedly face punishment for it.
