Telangana HC charges the Secretary-General a cost of 10,000 rupees

Hyderabad: On Wednesday, the Telangana High Court charged the state’s chief secretary with a cost of 10,000 rupees for failing to file an affidavit in connection with a series of warrant petitions.

Bench, led by Chief Justice of the Supreme Court of Satish Chandra Sharma, instructed the Chief Secretary to deposit the amount in the COVID-19 Prime Minister’s Relief Fund.

The High Court has filed a counter-application to the Revenue Secretary by today while listening to a petition filed by some people whose land has been acquired by the state government for the construction of an irrigation project in the Sidipet district. I instructed you to do it.

Since it was not submitted, the court slapped the cost of 10,000 rupees to the Chief Secretary, who was taking care of the Revenue Department, because he did not submit the counter despite the court’s instructions.

The High Court subsequently posted the issue on January 24th.
