In a statement, the Ministry of Finance made a decision in the electronic submission of various audit reports under the Income Tax Act of 1961, taking into account the difficulties reported by taxpayers and other stakeholders due to Covid’s circumstances. Said it was done.

In particular, the Central Direct Tax Commission (CBDT) has decided to further extend the deadline for submitting audit reports under the provisions of the law of the previous year (2020-21) to February 15, 2022.

The deadline for submitting a report from an accountant by a person engaged in an international transaction or a specific domestic transaction under Article 92E of the Act of the previous year (2020-21) is currently February 15, 2022.
