Former government spokesman and vice minister of President Kiriacos Koshos until Monday is the new Minister of Labor to take over the portfolio of the recently deceased Zeta Emilianidou.
This is due to an official announcement on Monday, adding that his new mission will take effect next Monday, June 27th.
At the same time, Pantelis Panterides, who is currently in charge of the presidential palace’s secretariat, will be appointed again next Monday as president of the presidential palace.
Former Labor Minister Emilianidou, who is highly regarded on the island, suffered from a cerebral aneurysm last month and died three weeks later on June 6.
