Thunderstorms Cooling the Heat of Early Summer-Chosun Ilbo: Daily News from South Korea

Thunderstorms gather dry countries on Monday and Tuesday and begin in the southern region on Monday night.

According to the Korea Meteorological Administration, it will rain up to 50 mm on Jeju Island, 20-70 mm in Chungcheong-do and the southern region, and 5-40 mm in the metropolitan area and Gangwon-do by Tuesday.

KMA predicts that daytime highs on Monday will rise to 20-30 degrees Celsius nationwide, about 5-8 degrees above average, before the weather breaks.
