Two Croatians shortlisted for Best Young Footballer in the World award

Two Croatians have been shortlisted for the 2022 Golden Boy Awards.

The Golden Boy Award, which honors Europe’s best young player under the age of 21 in a calendar year, announced today the shortlist of nominees.

Salzburg’s Luka Suchic was originally named among the first 100 nominees, but did not make the final.

The Golden Boy Award was founded by Tuttosport in 2003 and includes journalists from big European companies such as The Times, L’Equipe, Marca, Bild and De Telegraf.

Past winners include Lionel Messi, Erling Haaland, Wayne Rooney and Kylian Mbappe.
