Two days assigned to school vans and buses to get fuel

Colombo (News First); The Ministry of Education has allocated two days a week to allow vans and buses transporting school children to obtain fuel from the SLTB Depot.

In addition, the Ministry of Education has introduced a new dedicated bus service. “Pasal Seva” from August 1st to allow teachers and students to attend school. These buses with the school nameboard operate on two routes daily.

Gemunu Wijeratne, President of the Sri Lankan Private Bus Owners Association, has agreed to provide the required buses from August 1st, allowing both teachers and students to pay for this transportation service without any problems.
