Two radical associates arrested in JK’s Budgam

Srinagar: Friday security forces arrested two Lashkar-e-Taiba militants in the Budgam district of Jammu and Kashmir and recovered ammunition from their possession, police said.

The duo were identified as Imran Magide McGray and Aquive Amin, who are residents of McGrey Mohara Mockwa.

A police spokesman said, “Two terrorist associates associated with the banned terrorist organization Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT) from the Chadoora area of ​​Budgam have been arrested.”

He said LeT’s convicted material, two grenades, two AK-47 magazines, and 30 live AK-47s were recovered from possession.

During the preliminary investigation, the two contacted LeT’s commander and revealed that they were involved in providing logistical support to terrorists, including shelter and the transportation of weapons and ammunition in various parts of the district. became.

He added that the case was registered at the Chadora police station and further investigations are underway.
