The Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) says it is leading a national investigation into a series of bomb threats to universities and places of worship associated with the African-American community.

“At this point, no explosive devices have been found anywhere, but the FBI takes all threats as seriously as possible,” US officials said in a statement Wednesday.
