UAE reports 2,581 Covid-19 cases, 796 recovery

The United Arab Emirates Department of Health and Prevention (MoHAP) reported 2,581 Covid-19 cases on January 4.

The latest infection was detected after 397,766 tests conducted in the last 24 hours to screen for the virus.

MoHAP also announced the death of one person from a complication of Covid-19.

Meanwhile, 796 recoveries have been reported in the last 24 hours, increasing the total number of recoveries to 748,511.

The number of cases nationwide has increased to 772,189.
