Ukraine confirms the use of combat helicopters delivered from the Czech Republic

Ukraine has confirmed that its Air Force is using a Mi-24 combat helicopter donated by the Czech Republic. One photo of the helicopter was posted on Twitter by the Ukrainian Strategic Communication Center Stratcom, which fights disinformation and other external threats. Speculation has been circulating for months about helicopter delivery, but the Czech Republic has so far refused to publish other details regarding aid to Kieu.

The Czech Republic was one of the first countries to provide military aid to Ukraine after Russia’s invasion. By the end of May, the Czech government has already provided Ukraine with more than 3.5 billion CZK of military materials and will continue to deliver 600-700 million CZK worth, according to Defense Minister JanaČernochová.
