United Arab Emirates launches Etihad 7 program to fund renewable energy projects in Africa

The United Arab Emirates Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation (MoFAIC) launched the Etihad 7 program to secure funding for renewable energy projects in Africa at the ongoing Abu Dhabi Sustainability Week 2022.

Etihad 7 aims to supply 100 million people with clean electricity by 2035.

Under the guidance and coordination of the United Arab Emirates MoFAIC and the Special Envoy for Climate Change, we will raise funds from the public and private sectors for clean energy investment.
