UP cop reserved to sexually exploit rape victims

Morada Bird: A police police officer was booked on suspicion of sexually assaulting and exploiting a 26-year-old rape victim in Uttar Pradesh.

The suspected police officer, who was recently moved to the Barrier district, is married and has children.

Paramedic rape survivors filed complaints in 2019 under the IPC section of forced conversions against rape and other men.

The accused police officer then approached her with the excuse of helping her and allegedly raped her in December 2020 with a gun while she was alone in her house.

According to police complaints, the survivor had previously fallen into a man who introduced himself under a pseudonym and allegedly raped her under the pretext of marriage. After the woman knew his true identity, she submitted a FIR, stating that he was forcing her to convert her faith.

During the investigation, the accused’s police officer approached her and said he could help.

The woman tried to approach the authorities, but the accused’s police officer claimed to have persuaded her not to file a complaint by promising to marry her. After that, she started living with him until she found out that Constable was married and had children in Bareilly.

When she confronted him, he threatened her with disastrous consequences.

Circle officials in the region said: “I received a written complaint from a woman who was a victim of rape.
She said she was raped by a police police officer. FIRs based on IPC Sections 376 (rape), 506 (criminal intimidation), and 504 (intentional insult) have been registered for the accused’s police officer and share information with the authorities he is currently stationed with. doing.

“The accused was also ordered to conduct a departmental investigation. Record the statement of the rape victim and send it to the doctor.”
