US Prepares $1 Billion Weapons Package for Ukraine: Report | Russo-Ukrainian War News

The United States is preparing a new $1 billion security assistance package for Ukraine, which includes long-range weapons and ammunition for armored medical transport vehicles, according to Reuters.

The package is one of the largest to date and will be unveiled as early as Monday, three sources briefed on the matter told Reuters.

Since Russia’s February 24 invasion, the United States has provided Ukraine with approximately $8.8 billion in aid.

An official who spoke to Reuters on condition of anonymity said President Joe Biden had not yet signed the next arms package and warned that the value and content of the weapons package could change before it is signed.
