According to SAS, a total of 571 flights (out of 944) on Saturday, Sunday, Monday and Tuesday may be canceled in the event of a strike.

This number was reported by newspaper VG. The newspaper checked SAS flights to and from Norwegian airports within the next few days and analyzed flight numbers on SAS.no.

A total of 571 of the 944 flights on Saturday, Sunday, Monday and Tuesday are “probably canceled in the event of a strike.”

In that case, 60% of the flights will be canceled.

SAS arbitration continues

SAS and pilot representatives had not reached an agreement by midnight on Friday. Mediation efforts have continued and a new deadline has been set – Saturday at 11:00 am.

Therefore, it is not yet clear if a pilot strike will take place. If no agreement is reached, about 900 pilots from Norway, Sweden and Denmark will go on strike starting Saturday.
