Win tickets to chamber music duo Maisky-Troullous on October 12th at Full Circle

The Brussels Musik will host a full season of classical music at least once a month until May 2023.

Among the nine concerts scheduled in the capital, the Maisky Trulas Duo will perform a piano bassoon duo recital on October 12 at the Full Circle House.

Pianist Lily Maisky and bassoonist Mavrudes Trulos present great Romantic composers such as Tchaikovsky and Rachmaninoff, as well as Impressionists and Symbolists such as Saint-Saëns and Scriabin.

Together, these two talents take the audience on a journey of exploration of wind instrument expression and virtuosity.

Born in Paris, Maisky has performed at prestigious venues around the world and recorded for major classical music labels. She is a Steinway artist and owner of the legendary Arturo Benedetti Michelangeli’s last instrument.

Bassoonist Trollros from Cyprus has won numerous international awards and was appointed Ambassador of the Royal Conservatoire of Brussels in 2018. He has performed in recitals, large concerts, and as a solo artist.

The star-studded new season of the Brussels Musik

As a joint classical music platform, Brussels Musik We are committed to promoting music culture. Its new season kicked off with an international partnership. The Phoenix Sextet will perform in Vienna and Venice (photo above). Tour will appear in the following documentaries: End of the century Period including an exclusive interview with the daughter of composer A Schoenberg.

Performing in the Phoenix Sextet was cellist Alexi Shadlin, who placed fourth at the 2022 Queen Elizabeth Music Competition. Moving forward, the season will be joined by two more of her award winners, Sylvia and Stephanie Juan (violin and cello, respectively), who will perform in her January.

For the busy season, the artistic team was bolstered by a bevy of virtuosos from Belgium’s major orchestras. Resident composers will participate for the first time, presenting original arrangements and new works.

Benefiting from grants from Wallonie-Bruxelles International and Fédération Wallonie-Bruxelles, this season’s concerts are part of a special collaboration between the Institute of Italian Culture in Brussels and Full Circle Ideas. Remaining in the position of General Artistic Director is cellist Eduardo Tonietto.
