Riyadh- According to the just-announced international trade, Saudi Arabia’s non-oil exports (including re-exports) increased by 36.6% year-on-year in April 2022, rising from 20 billion SAR in April 2021 to 27.4 billion SAR. Report of April 2022 by the Bureau of Statistics (GASTAT).
According to a GASTAT report, exports of Saudi Arabia’s entire commodities increased by 98.0% in April 2022 compared to April 2021.
The export value in April 2022 increased from 69.3 billion SAR in April 2021 to 137.1 billion SAR. This increase was primarily due to an increase in oil exports of 60.5 billion SAR (123.0%) over the same period.
On the other hand, imports of goods increased by 11.2% (5.6 billion SAR) in April 2022. The import value in April 2021 was 45.7 billion SAR, while the import value in April 2022 was 55.3 billion SAR. — SPA
