Workers crushed by trucks in Frosinone and died-English

(ANSA)-Rome, January 14-In Frosinone, southern Rome, 40 workers were crushed to death by trucks after a series of shocking deaths from occupational accidents in Italy on Friday.

A man living in nearby Supino was changing tires when a heavy-duty truck hit him, according to local sources.

Police are trying to figure out exactly what happened.

An autopsy was ordered.

Frosinone, the capital of the Ciociaria region, is located 76 km south of Rome and 117 km north of Naples. (ANSA).
