Wounds from Asaduddin Owaisi’s Anti-Hindu Remarks: Attackers

Hyderabad: An attacker who fired at the Asaduddin Owaisi convoy in Meerut on Thursday told Uttar Pradesh police that he had taken action after being hurt by AIMIM’s chief anti-Hindu remarks.

Uttar Pradesh police arrested two attackers identified as Sachin and Shubham.

Police said the attacker’s interrogation was underway. During the interrogation, they told police they performed the act when they were injured by an anti-Hindu statement from Owaishi.

The country made weapons seized by Utter Pradesh police used by perpetrators during the attack on Asaduddin Owaishi.

“Uttar Pradesh police are analyzing CCTV footage. One person was immediately arrested in connection with the incident. An illegal 9mm pistol was recovered from him.

Five teams have been formed and investigations are underway, “Prashant Kumar of ADG (Law and Order) told ANI.

AIMIM Chief Asaduddin Owaisi was in Meerut, Uttar Pradesh, where he was bound to vote because of the campaign earlier today.

After arriving in Delhi and talking in Delhi, Owaishi said: When I came back, a bullet was fired at my car. Somehow my car managed to escape. I met them. One wore a red hoodie and the other a white jacket. The tire of the car punctured and I replaced the car after a few kilometers.

I spoke with an additional SP who said one was arrested and the weapon was recovered. My car has three bullet holes. The SP said the forensic team would investigate. “
“It is the responsibility of the Uttar Pradesh Government and the Central Government, led by Prime Minister Yogi Adityanas, to investigate this issue.

I will also meet with Chairman Lok Sabha on this subject. Attacking a sitting MP is a very serious problem. I think it’s a well-planned attempt to hurt me. The incident happened near the tollhouse, which means the attacker was already recce. It’s not the first time I’ve been attacked.

I was campaigning for polls, so the Election Commission should pay attention to it, “he added.

Earlier Thursday, as he left the Kitoud region of Meerut for Delhi, the two attacked Owaishi and fired bullets at his convoy. The incident happened near the Chajasie tollhouse.

He also informed him that his car had a flat tire and that he had to leave the place in another car.

The 403-seat Uttar Pradesh House of Representatives election will take place in seven stages from February 10th to March 7th. Vote counting will take place on March 10.
