Young leaves Jadestone to become Cooper CFO

Cooper Energy announced in May 2022 that it has hired Daniel Young as its new Chief Financial Officer. He will replace David Dibrasio, who has been acting on behalf of the CFO.

Young is an energy expert with over 25 years of global experience and has joined Cooper Energy in Australia, Asia Pacific, Europe, the Middle East and Africa (EMEA). From Jade Stone Energy He has been the CFO since 2017 and has been an Executive Director.

Prior to Jadestone, he was Head of APAC Consulting at Wood Mackenzie, worked for the Coverage / Merger Acquisition Group at JP Morgan’s Energy Investment Bank for 13 years, and later headed Energy Coverage in Southeast Asia and South Asia.

He holds an MBA from the University of Chicago Booth Business School and a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Western Australia. He is a Certified Accountant and a CFA Royal Charter Holder.
