Last year, Zain premiered the region’s first Startup Innovation Digital Video Report, closing the sixth edition of the well-known Digital Startup Accelerator Program. Zain Great Idea (ZGI) in collaboration with Brilliant Lab.

The event brought together Zain executives and the local investment community to bring together 25 startups that have reached the final stages of Zain Great Idea 6. The digital video report was screened at Avenues Mall’s VOX Cinema and was attended by seven finalists. In 2021, Zain celebrated the Zain Great Idea for over a decade. This is one of the most successful initiatives the company has presented in the Kuwait market as part of its innovation and entrepreneurial strategy.

Over a decade, ZGI has empowered, trained and invested in over 1,500 passionate Kuwaiti and Arab youth. The program has helped create many employment opportunities in the area of ​​local technology start-ups by accelerating more than 100 companies.

Throughout the history of the program, digital transformation has been a common success story for the majority of ZGI graduates. At its core is ZGI, an accelerator program for tech startups, and Zain’s vision of achieving digital leadership is in the right direction as the great demand for entrepreneurship in this area in Kuwait and throughout the region.
