$2.7M of marijuana vegetation seized in East Bay

(KRON) — Legislation enforcement companies raided 5 unlawful develop homes within the East Bay on Tuesday, seizing greater than $2.7 million value of marijuana vegetation, the Oakley Police Division stated.

California’s Division of Hashish Management was joined by OPD’s Particular Companies Staff, its Investigative Unit and the Metropolis of Oakley’s Code Enforcement Staff in taking 4,229 vegetation. The homes have been situated at:

  • 500 block of Malicoat Ave. Oakley, CA. (778 vegetation and a gun seized)
  • 2700 block of St. Andrews Boulevard. Brentwood, CA. (752 vegetation seized)
  • 600 block of Gardenia Courtroom. Brentwood, CA. (315 vegetation and 76 kilos of processed marijuana seized)

The Division of Hashish Management valued the vegetation at $2,742,754. OPD included photos from the develop homes.

There have been a number of situations of police seizing marijuana vegetation throughout the Bay Space. In June, 20 search warrants have been served at develop homes in Contra Costa County, resulting in $15.3 million in unlawful hashish being taken.
