(KRON) — The Oakland Police Division is investigating a deadly capturing that occurred within the early hours of Oct. 31. The capturing occurred simply after 3:30 a.m. Tuesday within the 9900 block of Medford Avenue, OPD mentioned.
Officers responded to the realm to analyze a ShotSpotter activation. On the scene, officers positioned a sufferer with a minimum of one gunshot wound, police mentioned.
OPD supplied medical therapy to the sufferer and was relieved by paramedic personnel. The sufferer succumbed to their accidents on the scene.
Investigators from the Oakland PD Murder Part responded to the scene to conduct a follow-up investigation. Police mentioned they’re withholding the sufferer’s id pending notification of subsequent of kin.
The investigation is ongoing, in accordance with police.
